All the colleges have volunteered 3-5 faculty members to be trained on all facets of Intellectual Property Rights. The train-the-trainer seminar was decided to be conducted as a 15 day workshop, in 3 parts of 5 day duartion each. The first one was held at MSR Institute of Technology, Bangalore between December 1-5, 2008, the second at Basaveshwara Engineering College, Bagalkot and the third one at SJ College of Engineering, Mysore. Xellect IP Solutions were the chief faculty and also coordinated bringing in the experts in the field for this training workshop.
