Xellect IP Solutions & Institute of Business Laws are pleased to announce a 2-Day Workshop on European Patent Practice conducted by the eminent French and European Patent Attorney and partner at Cabinet Regimbeau Jerome Collin on 27-28 September 2008. The session will be inaugurated by V. Lakshmikumaran, Founder and Managing Partner at Lakshimikumaran & Sridharan, Delhi, India. The workshop will conclude with a certificate to all participants.

The workshop will provide a hands-on training on aspects of patenting practices in Europe including patent drafting and prosecution. There will be a number of exercises based on the European Qualifying Examination (EQE), which examination is organised and conducted by an Examination Board consisting of EPO employees and members of the epi, designed to establish whether the candidate has the requisite aptitude and knowledge to represent applicants before the EPO. The workshop will further address the comparisons of European practice to Indian law and practice. For the Indian Scenario, Malathi Lakshmikumaran, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Delhi and Rachna Singh Puri, Xellect IP Solutions, Bangalore, will be available at hand.
